Movies such
as "The Night Of The Living Dead" (1968) and "Dawn Of The Dead"
(1978 then 2004) have helped propel
(at a slow walking pace) the zombie into a classic horror beast. These
walking dead creatures also turned up in pop videos - most famously Michael
Jackson's Thriller (1983) - and spoof horror movies such as "Shaun Of The Dead" -
what a fried gold film that is!
Now there is
even a regular Zombie walk for charity held in various UK cities where
thousands of participants wearing walking dead costumes and makeup shuffle
around the city centres for a good cause. This is known as "Zombie Aid" and
