The movie
"Texas Chainsaw Massacre"(1974) was partly inspired by the true story
of Winsconsin serial killer and graverobber Ed Gein who, as well as
other atrocities, wore a mask made of human skin. Gein's story also inspired
movies such as "Psycho" and "The Silence Of The Lambs".
