Rocky Horror Butler
The Rocky Horror Show started as an idea by
Richard O'Brien in the early 1970s and premiered in 1973 at the Royal
Court's 63-seat Theatre Upstairs in London with the collaboration of Jim
Sharman. It then went on to other venues throughout the 70s plus the USA
and is still performed regularly today, and even spawned a movie - The
Rocky Horror Picture Show.
It revolves around a geeky couple, Brad and
Janet, who get lost in a storm and take refuge in the creepy castle of
Frank N Furter, who with his handyman butler Riff Raff, his groupie
Columbia and Riff Raff's sister Magenta indulge in kinky stuff with
guests. Frank N Furter is a transvestite who has built himself a boyfriend
- Rocky Horror, using half of the brain of his former lover Eddie who is
now a part zombie biker. Eddie's uncle Dr. Everett Scott arrives (after
Eddie is murdered by Frank) and it comes out that Frank and his cohorts
are really aliens from outer space who have stopped by to have some kinky
fun with humans! In the end Riff Raff and Magenta take power away from
Frank and kill him - and letting the humans go free they take off from
Earth in the castle "spaceship" to return to their home planet Transexual
Transylvania.
