Dennis The Menace (and
later with his dog Gnasher) is a comic strip character in The Beano and he
first appeared in March 1951. He spends his youth in a campaign to
pick on "softies", especially Walter.
He always wears a
striped red and black jumper, and black shorts and was originally drawn by
David Law.
