Tops and dresses for ladies in the sixties and seventies
often came in patterns which psychedelic or of flower power
design - plus the classic
Indian inspired paisley pattern, as seen in the top on this 0's fancy
dress costume, named after the town in Scotland where it was produced in
large quantities during the nineteenth century.
The plain black flares
in this costume compliment the dark colouring of the paisley patterned
top. This is a pretty flattering outfit and is ideal for a 60's or 70's
hippie or even a 70's disco theme party.
